So Ive been doing some study of why people grow old and it seems that seance we don't regenerate brain cells our body just slowly forgets how to maintain its self and it really freaks me out because the new stem cell research is all about cells that will regrow in any area that they are put in so im thinking if we just constantly put stem cells in our brain we will never grow old? We are SOOO close to living forever its kinda scary

yeah, it's scary, i don't like the idea of living for eternity, too. Living our life to the fullest and embrace our time to embark for an unknown journey afterlife seems quite comfortable for me. hahaha

i highly doubt that stem cell research would lead to eternal life but if we did have eternal life, nothing would mean anything anymore.

A few logical and realistic pros and cons to everlasting life. Pros: Well, you get to live forever. You'd have the opportunity to do more in your life.We'd live long enough to do any space travel that might normally take 500 years.Cons:Over-population. That would lead to starvation. Which would lead to violence. Also, you know all those dictators that we wish would die off? Never. Also, confusion about age.The only way you could tell of someone is 300 years older than you is by some ID card. Is it pedophilia if I'm 3000 and that girl is fifty? Just too many darn problems. We need to accept death and stop trying to fight it -_-

That's the BEST Argument on that Subject I EVER heard.
On the subject of overpopulation ... you just gave the answer to that in the sentence before ... Space travel.
And it would take us a couple of trilion years to overpopulate the galaxy
Although I guess that after a couple of hundred years one will be SOOO bored he/she chooses to step off on their own will.
Not to mention all that wars, we would still drag with us around ...

one of the most prevalent problems would likely be sheer boredom and monotony. also, what about people who were already old when they get access to immortality? i mean, forever of being 90 would suck like...like...well i don't really know what it would suck like, actually.
